1st Global Entrepreneurship Week/Penang - GEW Malaysia 2008 (Minggu Keusahawanan Sejagat)

In celebration of the inaugural Global Entrepreneurship Week ("The Week"), as hosted in at least 75 countriesconcurrently during the specific week of 17th until 23rd of November 2008, ICT Penang, in collaboration with  Warisan Global, the Malaysian host of The Week, and various Penang-based partners and communities including ActionCoach, Akademi Asia, Business.com.my, Equarater, Intrenasionale, MCA ICT Resource Centre (MiRC), MyPath, Rural Internet Centres (and Social Entrepreneurs Club) of Balik Pulau & Tasek Gelugor, Smart Lab, Yayasan Kemajuan Sosial Malaysia (TCenter), TechPenang.com, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and 1oasis.net are hosting sporadic activities at respective venues/hosts to acculturate entrepreneurial spirits, especially for the young entrepreneurs and would be entrepreneurs.
